We flew into Grand Rapids Saturday afternoon and stayed the night with my good friends Sara and Paul. We went to church in the Saginaw Ward and were able to see lots of old friends I hadn't see in years. It was fun to show my kids around the area to all the things that were important to my childhood. Sunday afternoon Eric and Char threw a backyard BBQ and invited everyone to come hang out with us before the reunion started. It was fun to be able to sit and chat but I forgot how incredibly hot and humid Michigan can get on a summer afternoon!
