Allana Freshman Volleyball Team

This past fall season Allana made her High School's Freshman Volleyball team. We were a bit amazed that she made the team at first since she really hasn't played volleyball except for a couple of times with the local city recreation teams when she was younger. Most of girls that play Volleyball around here play for the different Club teams or at least play for the school's Junior High teams and have lots more experience. So when she made the team we were all really excited for her. She played front left and turned out to have quite a spike.

It was a great team. They ended their season undefeated!

She made lots of great new friends that are just awesome girls.

It was a busy season for all of us. I was able to go to every one of her games. Some times she had 3 games in one week. Most of the games were within about 30 minutes but a few were over an hour away, which made for long days.

Check out the next few pictures, you might start to wonder when she learned how to fly!

We were so proud of Allana and how she wasn't scared to try-out and at least give it a try. Then once she made the team she was so great about making every practice even when she got sick. She was able to improve and learn new skills and become a great volleyball player.

Four days after her last Volleyball game she tried out for the soccer team and made the Junior Varsity team! This should be fun...
