Awhile ago I got this chain e-mail that had you write a poem about yourself, I thought it was cute and did it then forwarded it on to some friends & family. The reason I really liked it was because it basically was a fill-in-the-blank kind of format where you start with your name then it had word prompts that you added your thoughts to then make it into a poem.
Well, I figured, why not... stick it on my blog! So here it is.

Imagines lying on a beach

in a foreign country

with nothing to do but relax

Never spends a ton of money

on myself

Mostly am busy keeping up

with my family and everything

it takes to keep them all going

Lover of Brady my whole world,

most kinds of food,

and creating things

with my hands

Who feels depressed at the moment

Angry when people are

selfish in any way

like rude drivers

or habitually late

Hungry for time with my family

Who needs order, not perfection,

understanding

not necessarily agreement

and appreciation not flattery

Who fears horrible things

like my family dying

and leaving me alone,

becoming blind

or never being able to talk

to my parents ever again

Who would like to see

myself be a better Grandma

than I am a mom,

the economy turn around

sooner rather than later,

and hopefully,

the celestial kingdom
