Highlights from the past 2 weeks...

*I got a new calling at church. I went from Primary teacher of 4 adorable kindergartner's to Primary Music Leader to 35+ active 3-11 year olds! I love Primary Music!!!

*I was getting excited about summer break quickly approaching until the kids had a day off of school and it gave me a tiny reminder of what it is like to have all 4 of my kids home :(

*My Mom and Dad came for a visit. They stayed for a long weekend and were able to see just how busy we are :) It was fun to have them here. They spent the whole weekend following us around to all of our activities, listening to us argue, babysitting when needed and Mom even helped me in a pinch, playing the piano in Primary when the Primary pianist called Sat. night and said neither she or the other substitute pianist will be able to play the piano on Sunday.

*Here is a pic of Grandma and Robert playing Wii while Janessa tries to learn a new piano piece for Grandma. Both Grandma and Grandpa are awesome at the Wii!!!

*We even had the fun opportunity to have little Kylee (my niece) come for a last minute sleep-over. She and Briella had so much fun together.

*Briella and Grandpa relaxing in between our busy weekend schedule.

*While Grandma and Grandpa visited they were able to see all 3 of the big kids games. Here is Robert playing flag football. He does a great job. It is his first time ever playing and already we can see some real talent! It is also Brady's first time coaching football and he is having fun with how different it is from coaching soccer.

*Janessa had a soccer game but of course the imperfect mom that I am I forgot to get a picture but she did awesome as usual!

*Allana had her District Track Meet for the school. The meet was against 6 other schools in her district. Those that got 1st - 3rd go the the Final District Meet. She ran the 100 Meter and got 3rd and the 4 X 100 relay and her team got 1st.

*She had the Final District Track Meet and ran the 100 meter (she didn't place) and the 4 X 100 meter relay. She was the final leg of the relay and she was so far in 1st that the 2nd place was at least 30 meters behind her! The meet included all 30 elementary schools in her district. I guess she got the best of both Brady and my genes - my long legs and Brady's speed!

*Here she is warming up for her softball game. I can't seem to get a good picture of her pitching, especially once the sun goes down, she just moves too fast for my camera! Even though it is her first season pitching she is doing a great job. This game, she was the back-up pitcher and came in during the second inning. When the coach put her in the score was 2 - 11 and the bases were loaded. She finished the inning without letting them score and she was able to finish the game 11-12 with only letting them get one run. (and the only reason we lost was because of the stupid umpire, but I'm not bitter about it :{ )

*Briella is such a trooper and just follows us from game to practice to meet to wherever we need to be. Here she is being the awesome cheerleader that she is!

*Poor Briella, the day after my parents left got sick and was sick for 2 days. Of course, the house is a wreck now since I had to just sit and hold my poor little baby the whole time. Hopefully, Grandma and Grandpa didn't catch the bug before they left. She is all better now and I am busy cleaning!
