Christmas Break 2010

So, here is a brief overview of how we spent our Christmas Break.

Of course there was Christmas Morning with

lots of present opening...

Other than Christmas morning...

this is how we spent our 2 week vacation:
Robert and Briella decided that since we had a warm spell with

80 degree weather, why not try out the pool.

That lasted about 30 seconds before they realized, it may be warm outside but in the pool it is still only 55 degrees!

We also had 2 family parties at our house, 2 days apart from each other! Crazy, I know, but lots of fun too! The first party was for all the Skidmore's that were here, & missed those that weren't. We had dinner, then Brady hooked up the trailer to his truck, loaded it with straw bales & decorated it with a few strands of Christmas lights and we loaded everyone up for some caroling through our neighborhood. I won't mention that it was raining...but it was. We had fun despite the weather :)

The 2nd party was for just the adults. We had a nice dinner party and had a fun gift exchange. I wish I had more pictures but I was having too much fun to remember to take pictures!
