Thanksgiving

This year we decided to pack up the kids and go on a road trip to Albuquerque, New Mexico to visit Brady's sister, Andrea and her family. We had a wonderful visit with them and had so much fun seeing all the sights in their city.
We left the kids at home and Andrea, Brad, Brady and I, all went on the tram ride up the mountain and ate dinner at a nice restaurant on the top. We were able to get there just as the sun was setting across the valley. It was a beautiful sight. By the time we were done with our dinner, it was dark and we could see all the lights of the city. Right before we went down the mountain they had us stand in line outside before we got back on the tram,
OH BOY was it COLD at the top!!! On Thanksgiving, the kids all made gingerbread houses out of graham crackers, lots of frosting and candy. Janessa was especially proud of hers and had to take a picture of it before we tossed it in the trash (since the ants really liked it as well
and were already taking up residence!)
We took all the kids to a fun Children's museum. It was TONS of fun and kept both families entertained for most the day!
Here Janessa is INSIDE a bubble!
They had these fun Lincoln log type building blocks for the kids to build with. The boys had fun building a great big fort.
Janessa, Briella and Brooke are exploring
more bubbles.
Allana way up high on the bike
attached to a pulley system.
Janessa, Briella, and Robert discovering how rivers flow and creating their own river systems.
Allana and Briella using pipes
to direct the flow of water.
Water, Water and more Water.
It was a miracle that Briella was dry
by the time we left that museum!
We also went to a great Zoo. They had lots of animals and the kids had tons of fun! Here is Briella checkin' out the elephants.
All my kido's!
Allana & Janessa
This Chimpanzee came right up to the window and interacted with the girls for a long time. They had fun laughing at all it's silly antics.
The mommy elephant and baby elephant
were amazingly close!
Here is the sea lion exhibit. After they fed the sea lions we were able to go below and watch them swim right in front of us. Robert's favorite part was when a sea lion swam by and pooped right in front of him!
Yea, that would be Robert's favorite part :{
Aren't you glad I didn't get a picture of that!!!

We also had lots of fun playing football, soccer, ping pong, going to a light parade & enjoying lots of warm fuzzy's! Thanks Andrea & Brad for being such great hosts! We can't wait for our next visit!!!
